Swimming Carnival

Annual Swimming Carnival

 

When: Tuesday 9 February 2021.

Where: Lakeside Leisure Centre Pool.

Time: Departing school at 9.15am - returning approx. 2.45pm.

Travel: Students will be walking with teachers. All students must come to school first.

Who: Students in Years 2-6 that have nominated for one of the following events.  Children may enter in other events on the day.

Events: Open Freestyle 100m, Freestyle 50m, Medley 4 x 50m , Butterfly 50m, Backstroke 50m &  Breast Stroke 50m

Cost: $5.00 (Season passes cannot be used for this event.)

This covers the cost of entry, carnival running costs and the life guard for the day.

Students need to bring their permission note and money by Tuesday 9 February.

What to Wear:  House colours, Colman-Blue – Hastings-Maroon/Red – Finnan-Yellow – Eldon-Green

What to Bring: Swimmers, towel, sunscreen, hat, food & drinks.

Lunches: Children may bring their own lunch or the canteen is available at the pool for children to purchase from during the day. 

 

This will be a closed event with no parent spectators allowed. This ensures we are meeting COVID-19 Guidelines and is the only way our carnival will be able to go ahead.
