PSSA Knockout Touch Competition
On Thursday, the 16 August the girl’s touch football team played Seaham PS. It was a close game; unfortunately they didn’t win but tried extremely hard. The final score was even with 4 tries scored each, which means that the game went into a knock off. Down to 3 on 3 and Seaham scored a try. It was a gallant effort by GPS.
The boys played on Tuesday against Pacific Palms. The boys played well but went down in defeat 4-2.
A special thanks to Mr Martin for refereeing and all of our supporters for supporting us.
Port Stephens Zone Athletics Carnival
Well done to all of our competitors who represented Grahamstown at the Port Stephens Zone carnival. All of our students performed exceptionally well and represented Grahamstown with immense pride.
Congratulations to Harley, Lilly, Ellie, Brandan and Kyan for making the Port Stephens Zone athletics team. We wish them all the best for the Hunter Athletics Carnival at Glendale on Friday 31 August.
