On Friday April 6 we will be holding our Annual School Cross Country. Juniors will run/walk the 2km course and seniors 3kms.
All students in Years 2-6 are expected to participate. They are allowed to walk the course if they cannot run the full distance. All those completing the course earn house points for their sporting house.
If a child cannot participate, through illness etc; they will need a note, and they will remain at school.
Every student attending the Cross Country should have:
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Sensible shoes e.g. joggers
- Asthma medication if needed.
Please write names on all items.
Parent help will be essential, so if you can assist please see Miss Russell. We require adults to man the various check points and to supervise the safety of students on the run.
The Cross Country takes place in the school grounds and on paths and parkland adjacent to the school and permission is covered by signing the general permission note at the beginning of the year. If you do not wish your child to take part please inform their teacher in writing.
